Discovered some things I hadn't uploaded on here, oops. Both of these were gifts for friends, of their original characters, Emilio and Emilius respectively. Funny how that happened.
One of our assignments was to modernize a classic Norman Rockwell illustration. Naturally modern = zombies. (the original is called "The Peach Crop") Done with Micron pens and watercolor on illustration board.
For class we had to create an illustration using three onomatopoeias, I had 'zap', 'crunch', and 'slurp'.
This is kind of how I felt watching Avatar.
Done with Micron pens and watercolor on Bristol paper (which is, btw, not good for watercolor :< )
I am becoming more and more aware of how much I suck at putting anything remotely resembling effort into backgrounds. How do I fix this? I guess I just don't like them.
Found this guy on someone's OC art request thread, I just couldn't resist drawing him. His name is Thül and I don't know wtf he is but he's awesome.
Those things in his hands are a mask and a cloak?? Iunno
Wanted to draw something and this happened... I didn't realize until about halfway through that the pose/character is almost the same as in my 'Origin of the Vine' picture.
FFFUUUUUUUU
I like legs and deer boys apparently okay? Geez
Part 2 of 2 scenes from Lost Souls done for my Illustration final.
This is Christian at his flower-selling stand in Missing Mile, looking gloomy. I think this was my first time drawing an actual background ffffff
Part 1 of 2 scenes from Lost Souls done for my Illustration final.
From left to right: Twig, Zillah, Laine, Nothing, and Molochai. This scene is supposed to be in a van but then it just looked ridiculously huge on the inside, so whatever. Artistic license or something.
Dionysus and Ampelos the satyr. Ampelos was killed while trying to ride a crazed bull, and the mourning Dionysus transformed him into the first vine and made wine from his blood.
We had to do an assignment about mythology for Illustration, so being the nerd I am of course I picked some pretty Greek mythology.
For illustration class we had to draw a scene from a Shakespeare play, so here's my take on the three witches in Macbeth.
I know the lighting is funky, planning on fixing it soon. Dramatic light sources are hard damn.
